Reporting Faults

Any faults within your property limits are your responsibility, or if you are a renter, the responsibility of your landlord. To report an issue regarding the communal areas of the estate: call Bell Ingram on 01307 462516 or e-mail edzellwoodsCT@gmail.com.

Street Lighting

Lights are maintained by Stensons. Due to costs of materials we cannot replace single lamps when they fail, so there will be times when certain lamps could be out for several months. We are trying to address this issue and are also looking into the feasibility of switching to LED lighting.

Recreational Facilities

Edzell Woods contains many communal grassed areas, the largest of which is the football field and children’s play park. An all weather court for tennis, basketball, etc. is also available.

Post Box

There is a post box at the entrance to the estate, by the turn off to Halsey Drive. Post is collected Monday-Friday at 1pm. The nearest post office is in Edzell.

Recycling

Recycling facilities can be found by the tennis courts. Glass, paper, clothes & shoes can all be recycled here – general rubbish must not be left! Curbside recycling is also offered to all residents. Collections are made every Monday, alternating between general refuse & recycling.

Composting

There are composting facilities at the far edge of the hardstanding. This was made possible by residents from the community and we ask that you use this resource responsibly. There are three bays for grass cuttings and one bay for stones. Branches are to be placed aside for the bonfire and mud/topsoil can be deposited to the left of the bins. If unsure when to place items, please contact us or as in the Facebook group.

Please do not put any food waste, plastic/glass/cardboard, or household items in the composting area.
