Kitchen Garden

Edzell Woods residents are building a kitchen garden! Updates and more information will be added to this page as the project continues.

We welcome all residents who would like to volunteer their time or resources, if you’d like to help, please get in touch!

Thank you to our wonderful donors and their assistance in developing the Kitchen Garden. So far we have received:

The Kitchen Garden is located near the hardstanding and is open to all residents! We welcome any advice and suggestions about how to develop the space and all volunteers are welcome. We’re looking at different options for the space – maybe a hedge row to keep out deer and to encourage the wildlife like birds and bees to come around,  Raised beds? Tattie boxes for the kids? The heap at the back Geordie Mcintosh has agreed at some point to flatten this down with one of his machines so it merges with the rest, this will allow us to grow into this space if need be.
